Where is Excav8te located?
We're based at 586 Fagan Avenue, Peterborough, Ontario. We work on job sites across Peterborough County and the Kawarthas.
What areas do you serve?
Peterborough and the surrounding area, out to about an hour and a half: Lakefield, Buckhorn, Apsley, Millbrook, Norwood, Havelock, Campbellford, Hastings, Lindsay and the Kawartha Lakes, and the communities and lakes in between. If you're not sure whether you're in range, call and ask.
What does Excav8te do?
Land clearing and forestry mulching, site preparation and excavation for foundations, and septic system design and installation. On a full build we also handle backfill, grading, drainage, driveways, culverts, ponds, and demolition.
Do you design and install septic systems?
Yes. We're licensed by the Ontario Onsite Wastewater Association to both design and install. We assess the soil, size the system to the house, produce the design, install it, and see it through inspection. We also do septic repairs and full replacements.
Do you pull the permits?
Yes. For septic work we handle the permit application and the inspection.
How fast will you get back to me?
If you call during our hours you'll usually reach someone. Form submissions get a reply the same day when we can, the next business day at the latest.
Do you answer the phone on weekends?
Yes. Someone answers seven days a week.
Is there a charge to come look at the property?
No. The site visit and the quote are free.
Are you licensed and insured?
